My friend (and my astrologer) Deirdre Taunton sent me this from Hamburg, Germany tonight. On the other side of the world from her, I’m in my room at Bread Loaf, in the Tamarack dorm at the edge of campus, which is a little like the hotel from the Shining but smaller and actually quite placid, given it’s full of editors, agents and me. The moon doesn’t look like this here.
